About me

I wanted to tell you little of my background and how I got involved with hypnotherapy.

While raising a young family I needed a different dimension to my life. I have always been fascinated by psychology and it’s applications. After numerous discussions, I was encouraged by a friend to do something about it and started studying for a degree in psychology.

While I was training in psychology I took a job to work with special needs children in order to implement what I had already learnt. It was rewarding to see the difference you can achieve in someone's behaviour and also to see the wider impact of your work on a whole a family.

During my studies I became aware of the different areas in psychology and arrived at a turning point, when I had to decide to specialize in something specific. I had a number of lectures on hypnosis and remembered having first hand, positive experiences.

I decided to study clinical hypnotherapy to complement my degree in psychology and found an accredited course with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.

After completing my diploma I decided to focus on hypnotherapy and to use my skills to benefit others. I constantly see positive and beneficial results in my patients, whether it is giving up smoking, dealing with anxiety, pain control and lack of confidence or just simply helping someone to relax and release stress.

I am approachable and open. You will find I offer a safe and caring environment for whatever problems and issues you want to deal with.
